About Our Divisions

Here in AYSO Region 420 we currently have soccer for children ages 3-18. However, most of our currently registered participants range from ages 3-14. Therefore our current assigned divisions include the following: Playground Soccer, 6U, 8U, 10U and 14U. As numbers increase and ages broaden, divisions are likely to expand with that increase. There is room for additional age divisions of 12U, 16U and 18U. Please see the information below on each of our current age divisions and contact us with any questions you may have.

Playground Soccer

The AYSO Playground program was designed by child development and soccer experts to give your child a foundation for sports success. This program is designed for children ranging from ages 3 to 5. AYSO Playground uses group activities, soccer themes and parent participation to develop the fundamental motor skills that prepare kids for all sports.

This is NOT a soccer game. This is Fundamental Motor Skill Development (FMSD) that will lead into future soccer specific skill learning. Your player will hop, skip, jump, run, throw, balance, kick and play.... all while learning beginning soccer fundamentals.

PLAYGROUND Soccer is a one-hour weekly activity for 6 weeks in the Fall and 6 weeks in the Spring, weather permitting.

Exciting equipment includes: colorful parachute, bean bags, hula hoops, cones, foam balls, pop-up goals, and other activity items.

Your Activity Leader will help you, Parents, engage with your child through active participation.

Each player needs a parent or adult helper, but don’t worry, it's easy and you’ll get to have fun with us!!
